Anxiety and Stress
Anxiety is considered to be a normal reaction to stress. It sometimes helps you to deal with difficult situations. But when anxiety and panic sets in on a regular basis it gets frightening. Whether you choose to take medication or not is totally up to you and how you feel, it can help in the early stages of coming to grips with things but of course it is not a cure because it will never teach us how to learn from our own thoughts and feelings and the effect they have on us. You are not a fixed identity, or a fixed person in any way and you can get better and enjoy life again.
Some people find their lives ruled and damaged by anxiety that is both overwhelming and inappropriate to their life situation. We tend to 'bottle up" emotions rather than deal with them. In later life these emotions may be triggered, leading to phobias, panic attacks and anxiety-related problems. The build-up of stress over the years provides a pressured environment for bottled up emotions-they must be relieved.
Your situation is NOT hopeless.’ The most intense conflicts, if overcome, leave behind a sense of security and calm that is not easily disturbed. It is just these intense conflicts and their conflagration which are needed to produce valuable and lasting results’ (Carl Jung).
Maya Hypnosis is dedicated to waking you up so you can enjoy your life completely. All the answers you have are within.
With sheer effort and a little insight everyone can get better, no matter how depressed, stressed or low your mental health has become. Important fact: if we think we can't dig ourselves out of the hole we never will. If we think we cannot get better, then we won't. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
People suffering from stress and anxiety have been fed 3 myths:
1. It takes a long time to get over anxiety. You need years of therapy, medication, etc..
2. Someone else will be able to give you the strength and comfort you desire. Someone else has your answers.
3. You are stuck like this. Don't let anyone (including yourself) tell you that you are stuck with the way you are because you are not; anyone can learn to help themselves.
Using Hypnosis you are able to separate the “you” from the “problems” and look in on them whilst not emotionally attached. Giving your mind this clarity lets you see the causes of stress and anxiety at their true extent and size. This in turn brings 1 of 2 outcomes.
1: What you may have spent years worrying about you could now see as totally insignificant. It could be a stress you associated with an emotion, object, or place from years ago and it has hung around locked in your mind.
2: You see a new problem that your mind has covered up by panicking about other less important things. This is simple avoidance. In the same way we all have preferable chores around the house which we will do so we can put off others, our minds can set us worrying about lots of trivial things to avoid thinking about bigger problems. This may sound scary but with your focus now on the correct areas the problems can be solved and the stress removed. Emotional problems left to fester will often turn into physical problems so should be tackled as soon as possible.
Once you have a true picture of what you are dealing with you will be in a much stronger position to beat it. You can now use this voyeurs perspective to find your own ways of tackling the stress and anxiety. One cure will not heal all but here you can develop you own bespoke solution, these are your worries, affecting your life, so who better to find a workable answer than you.
If you allow yourself to dig deep you will find the resources within, buried treasure no less! “When you realise how perfect everything is you will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky” Buddha
